Sales and Marketing Job Description

Location:  Ellenville, NY

Job Description:  A growing property management company, located in Ellenville that rents and manages properties seeks a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for growing the company’s rental base. Up until now our fast growth has been through word of mouth.  We are looking for the right person that can take the business to the next level by gaining new clients strategically and with the right advertising.    Specifically:

·         Increasing the number of properties under management.

·         Decreasing the amount of time a property sits un-rented.

·         Lead generation and prospecting

·         Servicing existing property owners.

·         Managing all aspects of Marketing including: Ad placement, strategic partnerships, direct mail campaigns, updates to website, and more.

·         Sales and Rentals of new and existing properties under management

·         Administrative Responsibilities such as: Answering incoming telephone inquiries, promotional mailings, updating website, processing rental agreements, sending proper correspondence, filing, tracking and following up with leads.

The Business Development Representative will report directly to the President /Owner and will have monthly sales goals.  

Skill Required:  The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, be highly organized and have friendly and professional communication skills. You would be able to manage many tasks at once. Would be able to write well and look at building the business as their top priority. Ability to use the following software programs is a plus: EXCEL and WORD. 

Salary/Compensation:  Recent college graduates welcome to apply as are experienced marketing or sales managers and real estate sales people.  Starting Base:  Hourly wage of 10$ an hour for 25 hours a week in the office. (Possible flexible schedule)  Most of this person’s compensation will be from a very fair commission on all new business
